Lake Tahoe Events November 2026: Holidays, Hockey & Concerts

Updated October 8, 2026.

Lake Tahoe events in November 2026 include South Shore concerts, Tahoe Knight Monsters hockey, the Caesars Lake Tahoe Classic, Valhalla’s three-day Holiday Faire and the Heavenly Village holiday kickoff. November sits between fall and ski season, so weather and road conditions can change quickly even when an event itself is indoors.

This calendar uses 2026 dates currently published by venues, organizers and official Tahoe tourism sources. Ticket availability, start times and weather policies can still change, so open the linked event page before driving or buying tickets.

Best free holiday event: Valhalla Holiday Faire, November 20–22.

Best family holiday kickoff: Heavenly Village tree lighting and Heavenly Holidays, November 27.

Best sports stretch: Tahoe Knight Monsters home games November 19–28.

Best concert options: Leonid & Friends, Tainted Love and Journey USA.

Two More November Dates

November 5: Caymus wine dinner at Chart House, listed for 7 to 10 p.m. at $150 per person including tax and gratuity.

November 26: M.S. Dixie II Thanksgiving dinner cruise, listed for 4 to 7 p.m. from Zephyr Cove, with advertised adult and child prices of $175 and $85. Confirm booking terms.

November 8: Caesars Lake Tahoe Classic

November 12–14: Lake Tahoe Lakers at Tahoe Blue Event Center

The venue lists three Lake Tahoe Lakers games in Stateline, separate from the Knight Monsters dates later in this calendar. Checked October 21, 2026: each game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with doors at 6:00 p.m. Times are local Pacific Time.

Use the individual venue listings to confirm the date, start time and ticket terms before booking. Choose the game as your evening’s main event and leave time for parking and entry.

November 25, 27 and 28: Tahoe Knight Monsters vs. Idaho Steelheads

The Knight Monsters return for three home games against the Idaho Steelheads around Thanksgiving weekend:

How to Plan a November Event Weekend

For concerts and hockey

  1. Stay near Stateline or Heavenly Village when possible.
  2. Use the event as the day’s anchor rather than adding a full-lake drive.
  3. Check road conditions before leaving your hotel, especially after a cold front.
  4. Leave extra time for Thanksgiving-weekend parking and crowds.

For the Valhalla Holiday Faire

  1. Use South or West Shore lodging for the shortest drive.
  2. Arrive early because designated parking is limited.
  3. Pair the faire with one nearby shoreline or historic-site stop.
  4. Bring winter layers even if the afternoon forecast looks mild.

For Heavenly Holidays

  1. Choose walkable lodging near Heavenly Village when the tree lighting is the main event.
  2. Plan dinner and parking before the evening crowd builds.
  3. Check weather and road reports before any late-night drive.

November Weather and Event Planning

November can bring dry fall weather, rain or an early Sierra snowstorm. An indoor concert or hockey game does not eliminate the need to check mountain roads before traveling.

Where to Stay for November Events

  • Stateline / Heavenly Village: Best for Harrah’s, Tahoe Blue Event Center and the Heavenly holiday kickoff.
  • Central South Lake Tahoe: Good for restaurants, shoreline access and short drives to Stateline.
  • West Shore: Better for Valhalla and Tallac-area holiday plans.

Budget for Your Event Weekend

Compare the complete cost of your stay, including lodging taxes, hotel parking, event tickets, meals and transport. Use actual quotes for your dates rather than assuming every fall weekend is cheaper.
