This page explains how to exercise privacy choices relating to I Love Lake Tahoe, operated by Cale Media. Available rights depend on your location, the information involved, and whether a particular law applies.
Advertising and Cookie Choices
If a privacy or cookie settings control appears on the site, use it to review or change the available choices for non-essential cookies, analytics, and advertising. Deleting browser cookies may erase a saved choice and cause the message to appear again.
You can also:
- Review Google’s advertising controls at Google Ads Settings.
- Use industry opt-out tools at YourAdChoices.
- Block or delete cookies using your browser or device settings.
Third-party controls are operated by their providers and may be browser-specific, device-specific, account-specific, or region-specific.
Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request:
- Confirmation of whether we process personal information about you.
- Access to certain personal information we maintain.
- Correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion of certain information.
- A portable copy of certain information.
- Restriction of or objection to certain processing.
Some information may be retained when permitted or required for security, fraud prevention, records, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or the exercise of legal rights.
Opt Out of Sale, Sharing, or Targeted Advertising
We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws use broad definitions of “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” that may cover certain disclosures involving advertising cookies or identifiers even when no money is exchanged.
To request an opt-out where an applicable law provides that right, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Opt-Out Request. Include the browser or device involved and enough information for us to understand and process the request. Do not email passwords, government identification numbers, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive data.
Newsletter Choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the unsubscribe link in a message or by emailing us. We may still send a non-marketing response to a request you submit.
Comments, Forum Posts, and Accounts
To request removal or correction of a comment, forum post, profile, or account information, send the page URL, username, and a description of the request. Public content may have been copied, quoted, cached, or indexed by third parties before removal.
How to Submit a Request
Email [email protected] or use the contact page. State the right you want to exercise and identify the relevant interaction, such as a subscription email address, account, comment, or form submission.
Verification
We may need to verify that the requester is the person to whom the information relates. Verification depends on the request and may involve confirming control of an email address or account. We will not request more information than reasonably necessary.
Authorized Agents
Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request, we may require proof of authorization and may separately verify the request with the individual.
Appeals and Complaints
If we deny a request, you may ask us to review the decision by replying to the response and using the subject line Privacy Appeal. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to contact a regulator or data-protection authority.
Non-Discrimination
Where prohibited by law, we will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Some features may require information that is necessary to provide them, such as an email address for a newsletter.
