Evacuation warnings are in effect in Truckee due to a vegetation fire that started near a shopping center.
The Truckee Fire Department said the fire started behind at the Safeway on Donner Pass Road. It is burning between the grocery store and the Coyote Moon Golf Course on Northwoods Boulevard.
